Hi there, I'm Christine Embree, and I started Serenity Home Organizers to fulfill my dream of helping people declutter and organize their homes. So many of us have been collecting "stuff" our whole lives, never considering whether we need it, or whether it truly brings us joy. That "stuff" accumulates over the decades, and clutters up our time, energy, attention, and emotional bandwidth. "Stuff" becomes a problem when we can no longer do our jobs, find our things, invite people over, or feel welcome in our own homes. In my search for solutions for my own clutter (and that of my parents), I've come across resources I'm passionate to share with others, and have developed worksheets (for those who love writing and homework as much as me). I'm also certified as a life coach and have a background in Psychology, and have been to therapy myself (highly recommend!), so I get that it's not as simple as moving things around. Here at Serenity Home Organizers, we get to the root of why you to feel the need to hold on to so much stuff. You deserve to feel serenity at home. | When I m not working, I enjoy . So many things!!! I am multi-talented and multi-passionate. I love getting dirty, and learned how to use power tools with Brandon Matlock when he was working in remodeling. I love building things, and am incorporating that in my business; I can build shelving or other custom functional wooden in-home storage solutions during the organizing phase. I'm also creative and great with computer graphics, and love doing homework, so I came up with pretty worksheets for my clients to use to help along the growth process. I personally love letting my bedroom get disorganized so I can inflict order upon it all in an afternoon. It brings me great joy to design and redesign systems for staying organized, constantly letting them evolve as I grow and change. I believe my clients deserve the same attention and understanding and compassion I give to myself. I am not a minimalist! Minimalism is great for some people, but I won't push it on anybody. I love having what I need and love, and I'm a "Bee" "clutterbug"... so I like to see my possessions out in the open. I follow Clutterbug on YouTube where Cas formulated four organizing styles based on personality. Once my clients have what they need and love, then we set about the process of organizing in a way that will work best for them in the long run. We aren't running a home makeover TV show here. I used to be a YA Fantasy author. Well, I guess I still am, just haven't written in awhile. I've also worked more recently on writing Romance books. But doing professional organizing, being hands-on with clients and their stuff, is far more appealing in my stage of life. I look forward to working with you! |
