I help small businesses maintain accurate bookkeeping records and provide timely financial statements so they can focus on their growing business, make informed decisions, and stay in compliance with tax regulations. I know the bookkeeping processes for small-business owners can be stressful and often uncharted territory. Many business owners establish their companies because they are skilled in providing a good or a service—not bookkeeping. Miscategorized income and expenses are not just a frustration but a serious risk to your business. So, great bookkeeping is necessary for a company’s health and success as well as to make sure you are in good standing for tax obligations. I started as a professional civil engineer designing highways and in construction before I started my bookkeeping company, The Bright Bookkeeper. So, I love serving trades and professional services such as HVAC companies, plumbers, electricians, landscape companies, roofers, etc. I use my background, love for numbers, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills to do the books and provide expertise to give the business owner another perspective. | My education, training and business experience
I hold four certifications: QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisor, QuickBooks Online Payroll, and Bookkeeper Launch. And I am a digital bookkeeper association member. Besides that, I’ve been working with financials for years and enjoy learning through helping each company. I also have a professional civil engineering license and used to design highways and work in construction. |

| When I m not working, I enjoy . In my free time, I enjoy reading and working out. I also like watching our boys plays sports and seeing them grow into godly men. | Some of the Clubs, Associations and Volunteer activities that I participate in are
I am a pastor's wife (my husband is the Lead Teaching Pastor at Henderson Hills Baptist Church). My favorite ministries in the church are holding babies in the nursery and doing premarital counseling with couples that my husband will officiate. I am also involved in serving at our kids' school. |
